The baby blue guest room as to be one of the most interesting spaces we styled in the house.
It doesn't follow any particular rules of color, or practicality
Just fun, colorful, eclectic.
We remade this bed about 5 times and it has me looking at my own bed thinking I need to add more color.
No more buying white sheets ( DEFINITELY NO GREY) in 2025.

Sculptor and designer @_jobeburns led the slow architectural transformation of this 18th-century English farmhouse for more than four years, preserving what time had worn in and carefully revealing what could be coaxed back to life. Oak doors were revived, a 300-year-old staircase restored, and every floorboard lifted, relaid, and polished by hand. When interior stylist @thehannaali , behind @hoechitecture , stepped in, she brought not just objects, but an intimacy and texture that softened the historic bones into something poetic.
Alongside the usual markers of excellent taste in design – including objects and furniture by Gaetano Pesce, Mario Bellini, and Verner Panton – found and salvaged pieces together with handmade touches populate the space. “The architecture set the tone, and we responded to it,” Ali explains. “I like to approach each area as if it’s a contemporary painting – always looking for something emotive, whether it’s the form language of furniture, twigs from outside turned into a chandelier, or layering uniquely coloured textiles that reference fashion. Often homes can look too perfect, too clean… The intimacy is in the quirks.”
