🎨Yesterday morning, our participants presented to the group the local artistic activities that they created these past days. In the afternoon, they all had free time and got the opportunity to visit the surrounding villages, cities or enjoy some rest nearby the beach and the pool. 🌊🏛️ This morning finalized the activity as our participants received feedback and advice on their local artistic activities. On the 6th day of the PoEM first Activity, local projects are taking shape! 🎨 👨‍💻 The day kicked off with a workshop on content creation and digital skills. Day 5 of PoEM’s first activity focused on creativity, collaboration, and local impact! 🎨✨ Participants explored a variety of art-based methods through parallel workshops, including drawing, collage, and theatre. These creative sessions encouraged self-expression, reflection, and intercultural exchange, while also introducing artistic tools that can be used in future local activities. The day was further enriched by a special Ebru workshop, where participants experienced the traditional art of paper marbling. 🖼️🎭💧 Later, participants worked in their country groups on community mapping activities, identifying local realities, available resources, and relevant stakeholders connected to emotional well-being. Day 4 of PoEM first International Activity and the beginning of the Co-Creation Lab! 🎨 Young participants sent by 9 YEU Members Organizations arrived in Izmir to receive a five-day training. ☀️We are now almost halfway through PoEM's first International Activity in Izmir, Türkiye! 🇹🇷 Since the 10th of May, youth workers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Portugal, Slovenia, Tunisia and Türkiye gathered for a three-day training of trainers.🌍 The youth workers explored different communication and reflective methods and learned about emotional literacy and resilience in youth work. Thanks to YEU's non-formal education approach, they also discovered how to facilitate sessions through art methods such as Ebru painting, dance or theatre of the oppressed. 🌿🎭 🚀The Co-Creation Lab is now starting as our newly trained youth workers will facilitate the designing and planning of local artistic activities. During this second phase, they are joined by young people from different cultural and geographical backgrounds across Europe. PoEM’s first international activity CANVAS has officially started! 🎨🫂 ✨ Hosted within the framework of the 44th YEU Convention, participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Portugal, Slovenia, Tunisia and Türkiye have gathered for an inspiring journey of emotional well-being, creativity, and connection through art.🖌️🌍 🎨PoEM is a project co-funded by the EYF of the @coe_youth and the EU. It aims to bring together youth workers later joined by young people from different cultural and geographical backgrounds across Europe and gives them the emotional intelligence and creative tools to act as peacebuilders in their local communities, fostering a culture of understanding and cooperation. 🤝 The first part of the activity is an emotional well-being Training of Trainers dedicated to forming a core group of Facilitators.
