As Black History Month approaches, I’m stepping into a moment I never imagined I’d witness in cruise entertainment. After five years working across the cruise industry, this is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to perform in a production led entirely by Black artists. Standing in my lead role as Houdini in House of Houdini, alongside powerful performances from Madame Wise and Dad (The Haus of Houdini), this moment feels both full-circle and forward-moving. Returning to RWS in this capacity is deeply meaningful—not just as an artist, but as a Black performer whose excellence has often existed without equal representation at the top. This isn’t just a show. It’s history in motion. We’re honoring the past, commanding the present, and shaking the table for what’s next! 😏

HOUDINI takes flight once AGAIN!📍
But this time… it means more.
A month in as Houdini—and not just any Houdini.
✨ The first African-American Houdini to take flight in House of Houdini / The Rise of Houdini. ✨
This contract feels pivotal.
Not just because I’m back in the air—
but because history is being made while I’m there.
This cast—MR6—is something special.
A predominantly Black lead cast, backed by an extraordinary ensemble, all contributing to the magic, the danger, the illusion, the truth behind the spectacle. This isn’t just a show… it’s a statement.
Houdini has always represented escape.
Breaking chains.
Defying gravity.
Turning confinement into flight.
And in this version of House of Houdini, the character evolves—
from mystery…
to mastery…
to something deeper: ownership of the illusion.
I fly.
I dance.
I risk.
I transform—
night after night at sea.
Grateful to be telling this story with RWS Global, represented by Six O’Clock Agency, and performing aboard MSC Cruises as we journey now through the Bahamas and soon into Europe. 🌊✈️
This is magic in motion.

To return to this production alongside such powerful lead artists @siyasimanga & @__jayverified — & our other performers, each commanding their own brilliance and responsibility on stage — is something I do not take lightly.
This moment is also history in the making. We are proud to be the first cast with an all-Black leading lineup, and that alone deserves to be named, celebrated, and remembered. Representation at the top matters. Excellence deserves space. And Black artistry continues to shake the table.
What I’m enjoying most this time around is the contrast — the growth, the deeper trust, the expanded freedom, and the shared leadership among us. Same story, elevated energy. Same magic, fuller voices. Returning to this role now feels richer, bolder, and more intentional than ever.
Honored. Grounded. Inspired.
This is Black history. This is legacy.
