Serrulate Sonance Album Release 🌖 Midnight, Jan 31st Introducing Serrulate Sonance, my longheld and labored thickly sound-chyld reflecting the living aorta of my recent life over the last 2 years, some pieces going back as far as 2021, the most recent written in the summer of this year. Serrulate Sonance, a phrase I designed during deep wordic hunting in a nightly painting to mean a genre which is a collection of unlikely sounds, serrulate for the word serrated as if an edged blade and sonance as in sonos or sound. Together it reads to say cut up sound, as if, when attempting to create serrulate sonance, one cuts up the pieces of many genres and combines them into a most unique sound. so what words would i went from my way? i see stories and dream heards often mindboxed. It appears to be much more buttery to fall the thoughts and images from my brain when some attached poetry is from clear coherent thoughts. and so ill grab a stem of thinking which can be understood quite literally and shade it in poetry as this is most what I am. as if written myself, as if my body woven from black inked words on a marsh heavy background mixed with greens and soft yellows. contrasting the behind of the strokes in pitch which are painted atop, it is my skin, and i am him the written word itself unearthed. a canvas natured to forn, i exist to flower words and soak them in warm oil, fan them, foil them, bud and float them that they reach other minds in their travelings fly and seep in a milky way. i sometimes imagine my unvisaged body, in its tame and untame, more real yet less seeable. a name is long sacred, the said of your skin, the tell of your who, the share of your stem. it belongs to us all in one way never two. though to you it exists and lives, owned quite uniquely. to us all who are not you it belongs to us that we keep it delicately stored in the litter library of words we know. it lives most oftly on our lips, you say your name less than we. in a way it is more ours than yours as it is how we are taught to find you, reach you, enter into a dialogue with you. but to you, though not in your lexicon except in rare moment, your name lives in your skin deeply and shapes the texture, mirth and squish. it writes your softness, your oddness, your fondness and assumes. your name quells quietly in the craters of your inner bones and speaks out your nodes and patterns. it writes your dephase, it rules your all ways and guides the notes which your vox can reach. What truly is the point of an all black suit: jacket, shirt, pants, tie.. etc the whole experience. It feels like extra-exerted thought and effort for less reward. The contrast is completely sucked from the visual image of you and most of the beautiful and intentional garment pieces disappear from view. Not to mention, the look is viewed as more stylish/expensive looking. In reality it’s just an unsuccessful attempt to be a unique look by just erasing the whole outfit. Post-Tonsilectomy First and hopefully my last surgery. Recovering for the next two weeks in xxhe-potato mode. No talking, no normal food, painkillers, documentaries and any art I can work on while silent.
