As well as a recording of a live set I performed in Osaka Japan this year, and an insane 12 minute poetry song made from a glued together string of all of the poems I wrote this year on Bluesky, for this year I had the challenge to write one poem every day and post it to Bluesky. I did this and then strung them together to make this insane Frankenstein poem that is somehow moderately coherent, almost a mix of stream of consciousness and intentional writing in a way I’ve never really read anything like it.
I have another ambient song as well with a bit of secret magic added but you will have to guess what I mean by that 🤫
This year has been insane. Insane and lonely. I feel like I just ran a lonely stress marathon in a circle. Intense in that I did a lot of traveling and performing but very little in terms of life direction. I have less friends than I began the year with (In fact I have no close friends rn but I certainly fuck with some of you but if I had to have take care of my lizards I don’t have anyone I could call to come type of deal)
I’m glad the year is over to some degree but also I feel pangs of regret at what I could have done with this year instead of sperging out and constantly worrying about shit that didn’t end up mattering.
I’m prob def going hermit mode next year I just hope it doesn’t destroy me. This year was exhausting and exciting but ultimately intensely isolating and lonely. I’m afraid for next year for a lot of reasons, I feel like it’s going to be very hard for me for more existential reasons than 2025 was.
Goodbye 2025. The traveling was fun, the isolation was not.

All visuals you see in this video were made with Math and a lot of code, also TouchDesigner or a combination of both.

Everything you see in this video was made with code and math (some of the video effects excluded) 12000 particles dancing to the beat of carefully tuned trigonometric functions to form a wriggling strange creature of the ether. Swimming through a Perlin noise vector field that phases in and out, scattering the particles into space chaotically before phasing away and reforming the creature as it swims ahead in its mathematical dance through the ether. If you keep watching to later in the video you can see the math displayed governing everything in real time. Audio also a work in production for upcoming album that may or may not make the Final Cut. Definitely feeling artistically inspired lately so have a lot more generative art/touchdesigner/video ideas in the works along with music.

Working on a new album currently, probably will be one of the last releases i work on my solo project for awhile. Enjoy this snippet from a song I might include in it. Also been getting back into generative algorithmic art. What you are looking at right now is called an Abelian sandpile model with a rotating graphic I added cus fuck it triforce. An abelian sandpile is kind of like a form of cellular automata that obeys simple rules with dramatic results. It’s an example of a dynamical system with self organized criticality, I really love exploring systems like this when making algorithmic art because there’s an excitement to not knowing what complex crazy dramatically different patterns will emerge by tweaking parameters slightly. Took me about half a day to code but I’m excited to be doing this sort of thing again, I mostly use Nannou in Rust and sometimes Pillow in Python lately.
