âThis project is a surreal exploration of growing pains, told through a fragmented game of âhide and go seekâ. This was one of those special moments in time when you get to create with your friends. It reminded us all to stay in touch with our childlike sensibilities and to have fun. Filmmaking is an exploration of the human experience, and ultimately, it feels better to create from a space of joy. Shooting on 35mm film allowed us to preserve a nostalgic look and create the feeling of a snapshot suspended in time. Not only that, but the mechanics and constraints of the medium forces you to stay present and unify as a team for a more intentional outcome. Big love to this cast and crewâ
