“Mortica Studio invited me to direct their latest campaign, a project shaped by visuals from cinematographer Owen Smith-Clark. Working with 35mm gave the images a lived-in pulse and granted us moments inspired by flash photography. The garments move through a world suspended in time: a humid, unraveling baseball game where breath slows and movement hangs in a delicate haze.”

“This project is a surreal exploration of growing pains, told through a fragmented game of “hide and go seek”. This was one of those special moments in time when you get to create with your friends. It reminded us all to stay in touch with our childlike sensibilities and to have fun. Filmmaking is an exploration of the human experience, and ultimately, it feels better to create from a space of joy. Shooting on 35mm film allowed us to preserve a nostalgic look and create the feeling of a snapshot suspended in time. Not only that, but the mechanics and constraints of the medium forces you to stay present and unify as a team for a more intentional outcome. Big love to this cast and crew” - Leaf Lieber, Director

Harold and Maude written by the great Colin Higgins was my late mother's favorite movie. Without her knowing it, filmmaking was her gift to me. This is just bizarrrrrrrre.
