Joining together to share the stage at the Center for New Music are three sound-based acts: Perpendiculous, xtra.dae, and Golden Dream Vultures. All of whom have been working on projects that concern the realm of dreams to debut in concert at this storied venue. Unveiled in the Tenderloin, two Dream Masters have agreed to share in this momentous occasion by revealing their astonishing memory for the dream world they experience each foray into unconsciousness.

IDHAZ is a producer/vocalist/harpist whose work creates visceral soundscapes of undiscovered emotion, past, future, and fractured light.
Emily Bouton is a violinist and visual artist that layers melody and texture in both mediums, finding catharsis in repetition and emotion in simplicity.
As a duo, Idhaz and Emily Bouton merge their individual crafts through improvisation and written composition. Their live sets throughout San Francisco have traversed varied landscapes, each filled with their own sonic ecosystems. Through their work, they hope to inspire flight, openness, and a deep welcoming of spontaneous self expression.

Meet two of the visionaries behind Tidal Mirror.
Xtra.dae is an Oakland-based interdisciplinary artist with ancestral roots in South Korea, working at the intersection of queerness, transness, and Asian Futurism. Through immersive performance and film, they reimagine folklore and mythology to build new worlds shaped by diaspora — centering queer and trans voices, challenging what sound and video can hold, and weaving their artistry directly into community organizing rooted in mutual aid, DIY experimental music, abolition, and the preservation of queer narratives.
Lil Bebe Cyborg (they/them) is a shapeshifter. Performance artist, rave DJ, peer advocacy counselor — every role they inhabit is threaded through an obsession with embodiment as rebellion. Fusing pro-femme dominatrix roots with raw, deconstructed club soundscapes, they create spaces where play, transformation, and full self-inhabitation aren’t just possible — they’re the whole point.
Together as co-producers of Tidal Mirror, these artists bring a vision that is as grounded in community care as it is in artistic experimentation. Come see what they’ve built.

Xtra.dae (they/them) is the creative alter ego of Daeun Maroon Hwang, an innovative performance artist based in Ohlone Land, Oakland, California originally hailing from South Korea. Through this persona, they layer audio and visual elements to weave narratives that blend traditional tales with imaginative, fantastical stories of origins that predate colonization.

We met on Tinder passport when covid lockdown was happening and I never thought we’d meet till I randomly went to NYC a year or so later and they invited me to a show they were playing for their birthday
One of the most special humans I’ve ever met
We time travel and jump portals every time we meet
I feel like we can do the thing the alien people do in avatar where they just connect their hair and communicate
I miss you and sometimes I like to think we are each other living in different alternate timelines on the opposite ends of the country
