HBO Documentary Films has begun production on a documentary series exploring the Zizians, a cult-like enigmatic group of young technologists linked to a series of violent crimes across the U.S. between 2022 and 2025.
Based on reporting by Tessa Stuart for Rolling Stone, the as-yet untitled series, directed by Matthew Galkin (One Night in Idaho, Murder in the Bayou) and produced by XTR in collaboration with Rolling Stone Films, will debut on HBO and will stream on HBO Max.
