We had a great time attending the Lord Mayors Design Awards last night and were delighted to see THREE of our projects win an award, the Conservation award for the Pattern Shop, New Building - Large Scale for Ouseburn Quays and the Cowshed Youth led Community Space - which took home a Lord Mayors Special Award for Community Initiative. 😍 Thank you to Newcastle City Council for hosting us and to all the wonderful people who have been involved in each of these projects!

The Lit &Phil’s Bicentenary celebrations were a huge success; recognition of the endurance of the Society and celebration that The National Lottery Heritage Fund have provided a development grant towards their multi-million pound accessibility and decarbonisation ambitions! We’re delighted to be helping them secure their magnificent building for the next 200 years Second and third photographs courtesy of Donna-Lisa Healy.

We are delighted to see the brilliant progress which is being made on site at the Heugh Battery Museum in Hartlepool. Whilst completion of the works is expected late Summer the museum is offering the chance to book a hard hat tour to see the work in progress led by Architect Tim Bailey on Friday 25th July. Part of the works has included volunteer led elements and in the images you can see the beautiful paint work that has been undertaken by volunteers on the site compared to how it looked before the works started. What an amazing thing to be able to be a part of! Booking to join the hard hat tours is available using the link below: /events/
