Nice one for Trevor — well deserved.
Balearic Burger’s very own Trevor Fung features in the latest issue of @discopogo.co magazine. He’s picked out a selection of favourites from a collection that’s been built over five decades — a proper insight into the music that’s shaped him along the way.

A big thanks to everyone who came to our exhibition / book launch / talk / party @thesociallondon last Friday especially @byruvan who flew in from New York especially, the DJs @louhayter_@franktope and @tomsharkett who were all, unsurprisingly, excellent and not forgetting our editor @write4luck for the onstage interview. It ended up being quite a night!
The exhibition runs until February 4th in The Social bar and is free to view, and the signed, limited prints are still for sale from the Disco Pogo store (use code DISCO25 for 25% off until Feb 2nd).
The book ‘A Disco Pogo Tribute To LCD Soundsystem’ is also available to buy from our store (use code DISCO25 for 25% off until Feb 2nd) or from the best independent book, record and magazine shops in the UK and around the world 🌎

Continuing our spotlight series called Favourite Finds, we ask some of our favourite DJs, collectors and selectors to tell us the story behind how they came across one of their most cherished records.
For the next instalment, we’ve asked Rob Butler mastermind behind on of the finest reissue labels in the game, @bewithrecords to give us an insight into a special record from his collection.
20+ years as a DJ, stints behind the counter at various record haunts including Piccadilly Records and a collection amassed through a lifetime of digging, Rob is no stranger to a good find. Helming the mighty Be With Records for over 10 years now, he’s put out countless prized reissues from the likes of Ned Doheny, The Ahmad Jamal Trio, Leon Ware, Bobby Caldwell, the KPM Music archives and many many more.
Swipe for the story behind Rob’s Favourite Find…

Really chuffed to have been asked to contribute to the latest edition of @discopogo.co magazine. This time the mag is celebrating 40 years since the release of the first @happymondaysofficial single with our own top 40 of their best tracks! Hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed digging all those records out and listening to them again. What a band! 😎💜⚡️🔊
Aside from that’s it’s another superb issue, with a great piece on @klfcommunications , @carlcraignet , @arthurhbaker , @lukeunabomber , as well as an interview with my dear friend @abigail_ward_dj , otherwise known as @ghost_assembly_music , and my neighbour @steve_kiw of @andres_y_xavi fame stepped up to the plate to write about his favourite @saintetienneofficial records. Although he’s missed loads of good ones out, so I’ll be having a word!

2025 marks a truly special milestone for us.
For six wonderful decades, Sonoton Music has been dedicated to creating exceptional music that brings stories to life in film and television.
To celebrate our 60th anniversary and bring our story to life, we’ve partnered with the incredible team at Disco Pogo Publishing to create a beautiful commemorative book. Filled with pop culture moments, memories, and behind-the-scenes stories, it highlights the amazing composers who have helped shape Sonoton Music into the music publisher and record label it is today.
As our CEO Alex Black puts it, “This book is just a small tribute to what Sonoton Music has created and continues to become.”
We’re deeply grateful for the journey that’s brought us here and thrilled about the road ahead as we enter the next exciting chapter of Sonoton Music.
So sit tight and come along for the ride, as we share these stories with you!
Despite many hours battling the far right traffic on Saturday, I had a great time at our Disco Pogo x Balearic Burger all dayer - helming the stall (with my daughter Esme), hanging out with friends, grabbing some nice food, chatting to subscribers and supporters, meeting some new people and soaking up great music from all the DJs 🪩
Thanks to everyone who DJed, danced or bought some merch 🙏
Looking forward to the next one! 🙌
Despite having to navigate our way through a sea of Union Jack and St George flags on Saturday our Disco Pogo x Balearic Burger all dayer was a total joy from start to finish.
Kicking off with a screening of KiF’s ‘Still Out’ film followed by brilliant DJ sets from Balearic Mike, Freaky Social, Lou Hayter, Raw Silk, Trevor Fung, Auntie Flo and David Holmes it was a perfect mixture of cool venue, great people, good vibes, nice food and brilliant tunes.
There were so many good musical moments but David Holmes dropping New Order’s ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’ and the whole dancefloor singing every word was special.
We also loved chatting to everyone on the Disco Pogo stall - thanks to everyone who bought something.
Special thanks to Balearic Burger for co-promoting with us and of course all the DJs (Balearic Mike and Freaky Social not pictured unfortunately as our photographer - me - got caught in far right traffic and missed them) but most of all everyone who bought a ticket, turned up and danced all day.
Let’s do it again soon 🪩
Auntie Flo has got something for your mind, your body and your soul… 🍄

Before Andy Bell disappeared to play bass for an emerging Manchester band called Oasis this summer he talked to Disco Pogo about his other projects including a solo album under his own name, Glok, Mantra of the Cosmos and Ride of course.
