a record which captures the spirit i feel living and working in new york. the original idea came to fruition after watching some 90’s NYC dance documentaries, which resonated with the energy i’m always trying to imbue in my music. it is a 126bpm jackin’ garage-house tune built for dancing
and with this, i’m announcing my debut full length project ‘OST’ coming may 29th 🌐 this is the product of several years of working and touring, and is a self portrait taken through the lens of the influences which have shaped my sound.

this is easily the most requested ID i’ve had since starting to rinse it a couple years ago.. it started with scruz sending the stems for a rough idea: i sent an idea back in most of its current form, but it wasn’t quite there.
over the next 2 years there were more sets than i can count where we tried to dial in the mix and production before going on, but kept falling back to our original demo.
i called @birocratic and @kosmicho_ in to workshop the production, and their touches finally took the record where it needed to go. @nosajkrap got the mix hitting on another level, and @joshuapleeter ‘s mastering brought us one of my favorite productions to date.
i feel very grateful to work on music with my friends and share it with you, especially when they are instrumental in helping the original intention express itself fully.
SPECTRUM is now yours, and my debut album OST comes out in 2 weeks.

In a Brooklyn studio filled with art books, toy figurines, and videogame memorabilia, @worldwidewev is chasing a feeling he’s known since childhood, the kind you don’t learn so much as recognize when it finally finds you. “I could hear it in my head,” he says, describing the earliest days of trying to make music. “But I didn’t know what it was.”
Back then, he didn’t have the language for it. Growing up in the Bay Area, long before he moved to New York, his musical world was shaped less by clubs and more by the vast world of video games through nights spent inside the glowing universes of his Nintendo 64 and GameCube soundtracks.
