Just after the new year, @j0nandrewsontour sat down for a conversation with keyboardist, percussionist, harmony vocalist and chief setlist curator @worldbofree (and the adorable Auggie!) to discuss a variety of topics and themes, centered largely around the #mymorningjacket 2025 tour in support of ‘IS’.
Here is the first clip from that chat, where Bo discusses how multi-night setlists can look wonky on paper, but play out beautifully in large part because of Patrick & Jim’s mastery of musical energy and feeling the moment.

The ‘Z (20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition)’ is coming out tomorrow! As you may have discovered, we have a handful of unreleased demos and new tracks that we wrote during that time that never made it onto the album that will be included. Thanks for all the love on “The Devil’s Peanut Butter,” one of our favorites of those songs.
ALSO NEW “WORDLESS CHORUS” VIDEO PREMIERING AT 12AM ET!! We decided that since we never made an “official video” for any of the songs on ‘Z’, that we’d make one now for “Wordless Chorus” to reflect back on our time together in the studio and live from that era. It’s directed by @samerickson44 who also shot most of the photos for ‘Z’ as well as lots of our early stuff. We hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane with the NEW REMASTERED audio!
