How can campuses maximize investments while transforming student life?
Join us at the SCUP North Central Regional Conference for “The Edge Effect: A Model for Vibrancy in Student Life Facilities.” This session will explore how the ecological concept of the edge effect can be applied as a planning tool to create more vibrant, connected campus communities. Together with the University of Minnesota, we’ll show how rethinking the boundaries between academic, wellness, social, and support spaces can stretch investments and elevate the student experience.

We are on site at @uwstevenspoint Learning Resource Center, where the exterior is coming together with dark masonry, light, locally sourced stone, custom-profile terracotta panels, and a glass curtain wall that frames campus views and fills the interior with light.
Workshop Architects is honored to receive the 2025 Architecture & Design Showcase Award from the Association of College Unions International for the University of Notre Dame's Lafortune Student Center renovation. We are so excited to see how this incredible facility serves the whole Notre Dame community.

Our team was up early this morning for the grand opening of the Wellness + Helfaer Recreation facility at @marquetteu . So many students came the doors opened early! We are thrilled to see so many students immediately finding their places in the building. We cannot wait to see how this incredible facility serves the whole Marquette family.
