"The Sheep Detectives" no solo es consciente de su ventaja, sino que la sabe usar para conectar con el público: esta es una historia que se trata con mucha humanidad, y que su enfoque sea desde y hacia los animales le da un aire de frescura que no sabía que necesitábamos en el cine.
"The Sheep Detectives" tiene éxito en cuidar el aura de atención, amabilidad, cuidado y sensibilidad que guarda en su narrativa, sin dejar de lado un misterio que se trata con suficiente comedia como para no necesitar más entretenimiento que la intriga que toda la situación evoca.
Al final, también hay algo de "formulaico" en todo esto, pero en la intención de Disney de acomplejar la experiencia del público en el cine, han dejado atrás este simple potencial que las historias entre seres vivos y seres humanos compartimos de forma intrínseca, y "The Sheep Detectives" es ese recuerdo de cuando Disney se preocupaba por inculcar valores y expandir el concepto de unión desde el núcleo familiar. Ese cine parece que ya no existe, y menos desde la fábrica de Disney, pero "The Sheep Detectives" será un lindo eco de un cine cuya meta principal era guardarse en los valores de la familia.

Alright so 5 Days ago on Saturday Night I just got done watching THE SHEEP DETECTIVES at CINEMARK 5 Days ago and I gotta say OMFG THIS MOVIE BLEW ME AWAY/MY MIND AND THIS MOVIE BROKE ME (in a Good Way) and it was amazing and a masterpiece and it’s now officially one of my favorite and greatest movies of all time in 2026 and yes this is an improvement and 1 million times better than Kyle Balda Previous Work:Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022),Hugh Jackman Previous Movie:Song Sung Blue (2025),Nicholas Braun Previous Movie:Splitsville (2025),Nicholas Galitzine Previous Movie:100 Nights of Hero (2025),Molly Gordon Previous Movie:Oh, Hi!,Julia Louis-Dreyfus Previous Movie:Thunderbolts* (2025) and Bryan Cranston Previous Movie:Everything’s Going to be Great (2025) and this is now officially my Number 1 Favorite Kyle Balda Movie of all time and man finally we got a Good Family Movie after that bad one that we got recently Horray🥳🎉🎊and yeah this movie definitely feels like Babe (1995) meets Knives Out (2019) and it looks like it was made in the 90’s but in a different way and Hugh Jackman and Nicholas Braun gave Amazing and Fantastic Performances as George Hardy Tim Derry and in this movie which was pretty good to me but Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Bryan Cranston absolutely steals the show throughout the entire movie as Lily and Sebastian and the CGI for the Sheep for this movie are Incredibly Solid and the Cinematography,Humor and the Musical Score in this movie are Absolutely Breathtaking,So Funny and so Genius and Stay Tuned for a Plot Twist during almost the end of the movie that left me MIND BLOWN and IT BROKE ME cuz of that so who is it well you’re gonna have to see it for yourself and the ending for this movie made me cry no joke for real actually and all I can say is Go Watch and Pls Support this Movie in Theaters with your Family or Friends You’ll Love It and it will Definitely be Worth your Time by Watching this Movie in Theaters and For George so yeah but anyways I’m giving it an infinity and inevitable 10/10 so yeah but anyways peace out guys✌️
I'm not sure which reviewer said this, but it's spot on: "It's Babe meets Knives Out". I wasn't expecting to get so emotional...over sheep?! 😭 Star-studded cast having lots of fun in a movie that's all heart, which translates to you having a great time at the movies.
Yep, I give it 4 out of 5 strange sheep-like cloud formations.
