Huge thank you to @universalpicturesuk for inviting me to such a brilliant event last night. It feels especially meaningful because this is my first event since my head injury, and if I’m being completely honest, I was only able to go thanks to one very patient, very kind, and extremely good-looking chauffeur- my wife 🥹
While I’m still recovering, she insisted on driving me so I wouldn’t miss out, proving once again that behind every concussed film lover (it’s a struggle) is a woman making sure they arrive safely, on time, and with their lipstick intact.
So I’m feeling doubly grateful: to Universal for the invitation, and to my wife for making sure I could be there to enjoy it, even though I had to leave early. ✨
Recovery is definitely much slower than I’d like, but having this level of love and support makes me feel incredibly lucky. Here’s to living in a “state of temporary psychosis”… 🫶🏻
