During this evening three unfinished audiovisual works will be presented. The selected works are by Vera Mennens @veramennens , Aitana López Rodrigo & Panida Te Petchara @aitanalopezrodrigo & @taaaaaaaaeto and by Harukaze Legouge @harukazecf .
Each of the filmmakers will share their unfinished work and exchange with the audience about their process.

We are happy to announce the Spring OPEN CALL for our 9th Edition of Working Progress on April 2nd.
As always, we will be selecting around three works in progress to be screened during the event at @filmhuiscavia . Each selected filmmaker will share their unfinished work and get the chance to ask the audience questions and discuss the aspects of the project they are currently working on, to hopefully help inform their future work.
We are looking for works in progress of any duration, genre, theme or style by independent filmmakers looking for feedback on their work!

One year of Working Progress!
We want to thank everyone who came yesterday, everyone who joined previous editions and especially every filmmaker who has shown their work at Working Progress, and all who submitted their work to us. Thank you for your trust and your vulnerability.

On Wednesday 15th of October we would like to welcome you for the sixth time to Working Progress at @filmhuiscavia

Kenneth Geurts (@ikkenneth ) presented his unfinished work at Working Progress #0, the first trial edition that took place in January 2025. Now that he is about to exhibit his finished work, we asked him to share some thoughts on Working Progress with us.
Flows of Capital is a 16mm 3-channel film installation that traces the rise of global capitalism through the Dutch colonisation of Manhattan – linking 17th century Amsterdam to contemporary New York City.
Flows of capital will be exhibited at the West-Indisch Huis (Compagnieszaal) on October 26, 27 and 28.

After having had a beautiful last edition as part of Moons of Cavia we are excited to announce our next Open Call for the sixth edition of Working Progress, that will take place on the 16th of October.

Around three works in progress will be selected and screened during the sixth edition of Working Progress, at Filmhuis Cavia ( @filmhuiscavia ) on Thursday 16th of October at 20:00h. Each person will get a 30 minute timeslot to show and talk about their work and hear immediate feedback from the audience on what they saw and discuss about the project.

OPEN CALL // DEADLINE AUGUST 20TH
Working Progress goes into a next round and will be part of MOONS @filmhuiscavia . Moons is a series of outdoor screenings and performances in the courtyard of Cavia, taking place from the 28th until the 31st of August.
Working Progress will take place on Sunday 31st of August from 20h onwards. During that evening, about three selected works in progress will be screened. Each person will get a 30 minute timeslot to show and talk about their work and hear immediate feedback from the audience on what they saw and discuss about the project.
To get the chance for your unfinished work to be screened and get direct audience feedback during that evening, please submit your project via the link in our bio until August 20th.
