A balanced 50-50 mix of members from Eastern Europe and South America allows their cultural heritage to seep into the creative process, resulting in an everpresence of hopelessly melancholic but utterly gallant melodies that are orchestrated by intricate, repetitive yet unpredictable and often tribal rhythm sections. Feedbacking walls of distortion, stabbing tremolos, reverb-drenched arpeggios, ethereal leads, pummeling bass-lines and driving drum-beats. All these puzzle pieces create a blend of horrendous, harsh sounds paired with mellifluous harmonies and textures.
VV’s live performances are chaotic and physical, known for their honest, laser focused energy and highly engaging dynamic arcs that take the audience on a rollercoaster cycle: unsettled-hypnotized-disoriented-emancipated.
