#metgala2026 . The (1st!) year my design hit the carpet. Still wrapping my head around this incredible project for the lovely @indiawolf . I can’t even begin to explain how honored I feel to have been considered for this opportunity. India and I worked together on the design concept, inspired by a previous collection of my work, and the armor collection @metmuseum .
The skirt is sewn with silk. The images were solar printed directly onto the material. The waist and train are both embellished with hand beading.
I have been on cloud 9, just floating from the creative satisfaction of this piece. It was such a treat to make, and it’s so exciting to see a friend do big and exciting things, like GO TO THE MET GALA?! So happy you got to experience this, and so so grateful and thrilled to have been included in the event as a designer.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! The period pantry is fully stocked because of this incredible community. I put together some little grab bags, and the full boxes are also available for the taking. Please come help yourself to any products that might make your month a little less stressful. Spread the word to your working friends who may be experiencing a tighter budget for the off season. We even had one product angel donate a few pairs of new reusable period underwear. This is such an awesome sustainable alternative. These ones are size medium! Since the pantry is full at the moment, I hope to use the next monetary donations to print some fliers. I will order a batch from our local printshop @ridgwayofficeandmercantile and distribute them. I plan to post them on our local bulletin boards and go into some of our local establishments to handoff to our working girlies. Together we can fight product scarcity and take care of each other. If you want to organize something similar for your community, please reach out and I would love to help you get started. This cost me $10 to get started. This box is on the porch @realmsupply and accessible 24/7 no questions asked.

I love Tuesdays because I have a standing lunch date with @kiybu at the library. She lets me crash her lunch break, we get a nice lil catch up, I get to peruse the art books and catch some inspiration, take home a new novel or two, and the walk down there is beautiful every time. I love hanging out at the library, but having a wonderful friend work there makes it even better. Go love on a local librarian today ❤️💅🏼✨💃🏼🪽📚

Nobody tells you how much you can learn about life and love when you have a little sister. @alexajasmine777 is my built in bestie from day one. This one changed me into a guardian and a student. We can fight and laugh in the same conversation, and leave it full of more love and understanding for each other. She teaches me how to let go, when I tend to dig in.
