Scroll to see the process! @wolfinater666 did the illustrations for this piece, we custom ordered the blanket with the images, and @realmsupply designed the jacket pattern and sewed it together. We collaborated from the beginning to bring this vision to reality. You can see the original drawings, blankets and the cut pattern pieces to the right. 100% cotton, completely individual.

#metgala2026 . The (1st!) year my design hit the carpet. Still wrapping my head around this incredible project for the lovely @indiawolf . I can’t even begin to explain how honored I feel to have been considered for this opportunity. India and I worked together on the design concept, inspired by a previous collection of my work, and the armor collection @metmuseum .
The skirt is sewn with silk. The images were solar printed directly onto the material. The waist and train are both embellished with hand beading.
I have been on cloud 9, just floating from the creative satisfaction of this piece. It was such a treat to make, and it’s so exciting to see a friend do big and exciting things, like GO TO THE MET GALA?! So happy you got to experience this, and so so grateful and thrilled to have been included in the event as a designer.
