Cry’s 2025 Wrapped ✨🎬 This year, Cry had the privilege of working on some great projects with incredible collaborators. 🔌 “”Jack is Back”” aired in January 2025, kicking off the year strong. 🛸 In May, we did a table read of @bossrocker & Alan Canode’s pilot, “”Beware Miracles””, focusing in on long-form narrative. ✉️ In September, we collaborated with @chakana.studio on another animated video for Parkland Direct, detailing their facility expansion. 🐾 In October, Pink Panther “”Musem”” aired, another incredible collaboration with @fableadvertising 🎟️ This November & December, the “”More Than Shelter”” short film has been screening in movie theaters before feature presentations. 🎁 In December, our classic “”White Elephant”” commercial aired after a fresh update from our clients. 🏆 This year, we also celebrated the win of 24 Awards between Addys, Screenwriting Awards, and The Richmond Show. 🎙️ And last, but certainly not least, we released 12 Episodes on our Filmmakers In Advertising Podcast, with some incredible new guests, including featuring some of our in-house directors. 2025 was such a great year and there’s more to come in 2026! I find long-form narrative editing to be like a mindfulness chess game. Cuts are based on noticing your own emotional reactions to every moment but not being seduced by a single scene, avoid being over-reactive but don’t overthink, the critical role of context & motivation, and play the long game.
