My art is usually a gift from one person to another or it is shipped so I don’t get to see the true reaction when a client receives the art. This was a little different…we got to see the smiles and joy that the art brought to hundreds of people. The continuous interaction with this installation, pictures I received from friends, the love I got on socials, and everything in between let me know that anything is possible if you believe in your skill set and say yes to challenges that seem out of reach. This was one I couldn’t refuse.
The biggest shoutout to @bausermanboybuilds for bringing this piece to life with his master woodworking skills and the tight schedule we were working with. I honestly could not have done this without him.
Another shoutout to @ellencbyrd and @maymont_rva for trusting me with this installation at Garden Glow.
