Film was then developed and scanned by thee @midwestfilmco . This was my first time using a new medium format lens (127 mm) and a pearlescent filter for that classic look. • If you replace DC, piece by piece, is it still DC? These are the experiments with Rebecca that became the foundation for ‘Ruminations on the Ship of Theseus I’ (now on view at @dupontunderground ). This was my first time featuring a motion portrait in a show and it looks incredible at scale. • All digital stills and motion portraits were captured on the Canon R5C, then graded in Lightroom and Davinci resolve respectively. The ‘Ruminations’ portrait was keyed and cut to its final sequence in Final Cut Pro. • Film stills were captured on 120 mm @kodak Portra 800 via Mamiya RB67 then developed and scanned by thee @midwestfilmcompany . 8mm footage was captured on @kodak_shootfilm Vision 3 500 T via the Braun Nizo S40, then developed and scanned by @colorlabmd .
