Day 1 of 40: Handstand
In forty days, I turn 40 years old. I’ve experienced a lot of change in my life, but none so big as changing careers from full-time acrobat to full-time software engineer.
To make sure I still have my skills, and to have some fun with it, I’m going to post a different trick each day, every day, until my birthday.
Today we’re starting with a classic - the handstand. I went with a pike press and tried to pull through to L sit, but I haven’t done that in years, and it shows. I think I’m going to discover a lot of tricks are harder than I remember. 😅

@deneenmelody is the light I didn’t know I was missing. She’s so cool, but all that skill makes her busy! It’s been fun watching her juggle dance shows, voice actor roles (so many characters I can’t even name them all), scaring at Universal Horror, and driving to LA for conventions.
I love all of her looks: ballerina, dragon, elven princess, anime voice, cosplayer, gym rat, Pokémon hunter, fancy dress - she’s always stunning.

For those of you following my stories lately, you already know - I’m in love. And this time, I trust it/her/us completely.
8 years ago we met, and I was smitten. We dated for a bit, but I wasn’t ready for a passion that intense. But now? Oh man, world look out because my soul is on fire and I feel like I can do anything with this woman by my side.
1st two are from @lojmasquerade 2017, the next four are from this year’s Labyrinth, about a month ago. The rest are from her visiting me in Vegas. Nothing but good times, all of it.

Body transformation!
Some of you may have noticed a change in my appearance. Yes, I’m loving the bleach blonde and gonna keep it up for a while. As for my body, here’s a long post for those who are curious. The TL;DR is that I went from 153-198 in 9 months, and have currently slimmed down to 191. That was 45lbs of bulk!
