Windsor High School Theatre is honored to be nominated in 8 categories for the Bobby G Awards! The Bobby G Awards are a statewide program that recognizes outstanding achievement in musical theatre. Windsor High School's production of Bright Star was evaluated by professionals from the Denver Center to determine nominees from 50 schools in Colorado and we are nominated in the following categories: 🌟 Outstanding Achievement in Scenic Design 🌟 Outstanding Achievement in Lighting Design 🌟 Outstanding Achievement in Musical Direction 🌟 Outstanding Achievement in Choreography 🌟 Outstanding Performance by a Chorus 🌟 Outstanding Achievement in Direction 🌟 Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role: Keegan Miller 🌟 Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical Keegan will be performing in the Lead Actor Medley and the Cast of Bright Star are one of five schools who will be performing on the Ellie Caulkins stage on May 15th at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased at DenverCenter.org We will have a preview of our Bobby G performance in the Windsor High School Cafeteria on May 12th from 5:30-6:15pm. 🌟 Our path to the Bobby G Awards 2026 🌟 Episode 1 of 3 Whoa Mama was this an adventure for the Bright Star cast, crew, staff, and our squad! We loved every exhilarating moment of preparing, perfecting, and positively reveling in all that was Bright Star. When we closed our show many of us were so sad to let it go.....but we didn't have to and for that we are truly honored and thankful. We celebrated the night away and were honored to take home TWO Bobby Gs! Our theatre students are so brave! The AP Art show took everything they have done to a new level. Putting your art on display is a risk and these students took that rish to share their voice and boy do they have something to say! Congrats to all of the art show students! 🌹 Senior night always brings tears but behind those tears is joy for what is to come for these wonderful people. They have taught us poise, grace through adversity, how to lead, and also how to follow when the time is right. We are so incredibly proud of who these seniors have become and look forward to the bright lights that they are going to shine in the world. 💕 Congratulations to Oliver who Keegan bestowed the Ensemble Robe to on Senior night. The moment he recieved the robe at the photo, he wanted to share it with all of the seniors and this....this is what this robe and this program and theatre means at its core. Sharing, giving, leading when it is the right time, and following when we need to step back. Thank you Oliver and to all the seniors for leading by example. Grateful. Proud. Community. 2nd night was even more fantastic than the first! We celebrated our juniors last night! Congratulations Keegan on earning the Ensemble Robe from your peers. This was well earned....and the people around you see it. 💕 Compassion. Community. Proud. Tonight will be bittersweet as we close this show. We are so very grateful for the honor of putting this beautiful story on stage and it will be forever embedded in our hearts.
