#rusttasteburntmouthlp
Sunday was the opening for
’rust taste burnt mouth’
a collaboration between Gerry Mitchell, poet & Tim Jones, improvised piano….from 2013 recorded on a domestic zoom mic.
In 2025 Brian Moran gave Bertie at #teabarrecords a copy on cd.
Bertie bought us Guinness
@endeavourdeptford and suggested a release of 111 lps. He would cover the cost of the pressing if Tim would do the 111 covers.
We asked Ian Button
@papernut_c to master the record-Ian has recorded and mastered many recordings in unusual settings. Many thanks to Ian for all his work.
Andrew Zhou
@melodyforanewday was asked to collaborate. Andrew has transcribed 4 of the tracks from the album.
This turned into piano works-Andrew and Tim improvising together…’four hands’ which is how Sunday evening’s event started.

Thank you to those that came, to those that have brought records…we salute you.
There are a few records still available…dm if interested. £25.
There are a few copies of the score still available to buy. £15
Buying a record means that Bertie can pay for another musician to make an album. ❤️❤️❤️
