New work with @officialdiamondwhite x @keitarocloward
It’s been fun working with the @dji_ronin 4d this year. Operating the camera is a dream - for this video since we hazed the room heavily I couldn’t rely on the lidar autofocus and had to pull while operating.. not ideal but an exciting challenge! This project in particular we shot in 8k in order to punch in to hide the dancers in the second slide. Safe to say it worked really well!
Despite numerous critiques the camera has held up well under good lighting conditions. I opted to use a digital pro mist instead of a screw on glimmerglass so that the gimbal was as smooth as possible. Definitely tough to pull character from such clean glass / sensor but I think with the right tools you can get proper images from it. That’s all for my Ronin 4d take.

LA excerpts from The Heart of California
Despise the devastation it’s been heart warming to see the city come together in such a dark time.
Thankfully none of the family’s featured in the film were directly affected. With that being said there are still plenty that could use our support.
It’s great to know that in a city people often view as fictitious has the realest community coming together to help. I see that as a parallel in the film that speaks to the genuine nature of the people who make California so great 🙏

I’ve come to realize these people are the truest products of freedom and are what give the state the beauty it’s known for.
