My daughter convinced me to partner up with her and I said yes and we won first 🥇 place! Will I do it again? 🤔 Ummm, I still ask myself ‘why did I agree to it in the first place?’ 😆
🏆
Going into this competition with no expectation, I approached them as “just another workout”. For me, it was nice to see all my hard work from the past years carry over into this competition. With that said, I didn’t want to let my daughter down and I didn’t want to let myself down, so I promised myself to push. Knowing that she would be by my side to get me through this gave me a sense of relief, but it was still so hard regardless.

Thanks @chalisaphi 🫶 I couldn’t have done it without you. You may see me struggle but never give up. And with us together, we are… UNBREAKABLE 😏🏆☝️
And thanks to all my cheerleaders 📣 You are all amazing.

We did that! 4 months ago you told us all you wanted for your birthday was for us to help you put on this personal growth summit. Happy birthday to the one who does everything for everyone! 💝

Proud of my dad for beating his old time and my cousins for getting in their first! Training with you all is a privilege! 🫶🏼
One of my favorite episodes to direct so far! Thank you @thisisgiakim for getting vulnerable with us. Sorry for the salmon, @kellymili . Probably wasn't your favorite episode to eat lol.
This episode comes out tonight and more episodes of "Stir the Pot" are available to stream on GetGolden.tv or on ChimeTV if you have Spectrum ✌🏼

A 3-day competition at this scale was a lot mentally. Stress levels were high weeks leading up to it but the people who showed up for me gave me the energy I needed to finish in 3rd with 3 event wins. The 3 in particular: my parents and Jill (and Teddy). Thanks for taking care of me and for losing your voices for me. Shoutout to all the volunteers, pros and athletes that I met. Coolest part was connecting with people from all around the world through this sport.
