Forza Maratona is the brainchild of my @madeleineafawcett , London’s answer to the Marathon du Médoc. Her concept swaps vineyards and châteaux for pubs, bars, restaurants and bakeries (more Peckham, less Pauillac), with runners stopping eight times for a glass of wine along a 12km route from South to Central.
Madeleine told me the idea over brunch, I loved it, and with the help of our A-list protagonist Isaac, this is the film we made to announce it. All in the name of charity, tickets sold out in hours. That’s very cool and I’m very proud.

After losing touch with Paula, Kut threw himself into his work at Casa Melina. There, he took a once-abandoned sugar cane hacienda and restored it into a true oasis in Todos Santos.
Around that time, he found Paula again, working at a nearby hotel kitchen cooking staff meal.
“She was, uh… she was underappreciated, to say the least. I invited her over and we started working together. Her ancestral knowledge of corn, the ingredients we found growing in the oasis of Todos Santos, and the techniques I bring. It became this lovely collaboration between old and new.”

Today marks the launch of @cometa.restaurant from @templetonollie , @alejuaritos and @joselizarralde .
All from, or with deep roots in, Mexico, this isn’t stereotype, but a proper celebration of the country’s extraordinary coastline. Spanning the equivalent size of 24 European countries (a stat borrowed from the lovely @masafina.masafina ), Mexican cooking is far more than tacos and burritos. It was a joy to make this video to announce its blazing entrance into London’s dining atmosphere.
Just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who came down to the @bruno___london X @anauldalliance residency! I’m so grateful for the support from friends, family and of course our guests. To be able to cook and interact with you all is such a pleasure.
Also of course a massive thank you to Bruno for the opportunity and the entire team for their support throughout the residency. It was a bloody blast.
