Exactly two years ago today, I got to spend a little time with the one and only @quincyjones ! I still hold each and every word he said to me close to my heart. This man is such an inspiration and his generosity with his time and passion for encouraging people is something so rare and beautiful in this industry. 🖤🖤🖤 this is what I wrote after talking to him:

Life’s been a little crazy lately, but so excited to finally post this one, albeit a tad bit late! 🎻🎄 Y’all, @thekalenallen , @brandonmichaelnase , @papabearjohnson , and @malachimabson did THE MOST on this record in the best of ways. Easily my favorite Christmas album and I feel so honored to have played a part in it. So thankful for this crew of beautiful souls who are at the top of their game. The talent on this record is INSANE! Grateful for some wild and fun string parts that I got to play with @claudius.agrippa , @taniuskilla , and @kidinter . Shout out to @stoovxia for expertly engineering all of this and @joshuapleeter for being the master of masters.
