This journey of the last eleven years has been nothing short of one of the greatest joys of my life. To help my friend tell this story visually and support her vision has been so incredibly special. So grateful to now be able to wrap it all up into one incredible show and work along side some of the most talented creatives to bring this all to fruition.

When I met Hera over 15 years ago, I was impressed by them then. The talent was so palpable and more than most, she knew who she was and truly had a unique point of view which is saying a lot at 20 years old. Over the years however, I am obviously so proud of all she’s accomplished (two time drag race winner, touring the world, and now her third time on broadway in a role she’s originating) but I’m the most in awe of her graciousness, her character, and her growth. She is the living embodiment of “beat of your own drum,” and she is exactly as sweet, weird, and wonderful as the day I met her.

TRILOGY TOUR ACT TWO: K-12
Before we even started rehearsals, @littlebodybigheart was sure that the second act of the Trilogy Tour needed to incorporate her iconic pigtails from the movie. To me, there isn’t any other look that stands out more from this era so it only made sense to reinvent them.
After the first act, @laurelcharleston , @go.for.wardrobe , and I only have 1-3 minutes to make the change to K-12. Just like there is choreography on stage, we also have our own backstage to make this happen in time and run as smooth as possible. I couldn’t have asked for more supportive, solution oriented teammates to dance in a tiny quick change tent with across the world 🥹🫶🏻

TRILOGY TOUR ACT ONE: CRYBABY
Over 10 years ago now, I was put in touch with @littlebodybigheart to discuss doing her first ever music video, Dollhouse. From that video, I watched her in awe beginning to build the world that we now know as the Crybaby Era. Dominated by soft pastels, bows, and roller sets, it was important for me to capture the essence of this era for the Trilogy Tour without it feeling like a Time Capsule. I think the result reflects our growth together as collaborators and visually honors where it all started. This glam team, this tour, the crowds every night have been an absolute dream to be apart of and I can’t wait for everyone to see how everything continues to evolve 🥹✨
