I wrote this song from post-heartbreak purgatory. 🐟 lost my mind on @dvncy ‘s couch, where I word vomited my lil indecisive unfiltered brain out into a shared notepad, until we unscrambled it and made this song. 🖤 hope u like it 🖤🖤
“CLUMSY” out now <3 this song means so much to me. I remember I had to leave the first writing session because I was gonna cry/crash out from sadness 🥲 I was so numb and unavailable to the concept of love at that time - even with someone willing to see it through with me right in front of me. This song is an apology. I was clumsy with my own healing, and, in turn, with other people’s feelings. I was trying to escape the process of grieving. I was fucking imploding. @dvncy has a way of untangling my brain and reminding me that it doesn’t always have to be so ‘clever’ and heady of a concept - sometimes you just gotta SAY the thing so simply:
