The world feels like Hell because it is. Living through this is Hellish. I was anxious AF going into this year’s festival, so am grateful for the healing energy flowing through these fields and those who inhabit it.
What I take from this years @glastofest is that we must take more direct action to protect our right to explore and speak openly. These beautiful places allow us to meet people from all walks of life, and discover powerful messages hidden within the psychedelia of performance and art.
Thank you Glastonbury. Thank you to everyone who helped build, party, or yapped with me about the important stuff. I love you all!
Accidental colour-matching & warm sound in a cold place. An enlightening overnight trip to Oslo to meet the wizards behind @nnnnaudio x @devonojas on home turf with @neuron_av . I wanted to bring all of it home with me… thanks to our hosts @lemaitremusic (what a studio!) @storgata26 & @gehor_oslo
A highlight of a jam-packed 24 hours in Norway was this cosy little gem with exceptional attention to detail and audio quality to match.
Oslo is an amazing city and flights are super cheap, if you’re happy to spend an extra hour on the bus or train from TORP.
Blessed to hop on the desk at two heritage venues back-to-back on Friday 🙌 heavy low fog and crowd walk vocal intensity with @blackhaine on some old-but-gold @meyersoundlabs MSL in Southbank — apparently @maryannehobbs_ gig of the year so far 🤯 — followed by a proper Mass Brixton throwback with the originals and best to ever do it @loefah@maladmz@coki_dmz@pokestagraph@flowdan plus a belting 140 set from @anzieanz and @spmc at KOKO.
Not sure which was more fun; bending a @dbaudiotechnik_gmbh XSL PA into an emulation of a roots system with layers of dynamic EQ 🎚️🎛️🔊or getting to run five minutes over time ⌚️for the long-lost “one last tune”😨

Third degree Burn was the most bittersweet. Excitement built rapidly for this one, with @lidtheekid joining me on her virgin expedition. Sadly, on the first day proper I learned of the passing of a close friend, the inimitable @lukeleadbelly 🪦😓 in the past, that would have put a bigger dampener on the whole event than even last year’s rainfall.
Not so, with the beautiful robots @robotheartfoundation and @knowaudio that I am fortunate enough to call friends & family. I’ve never felt so supported, loved and cared for. It certainly wasn’t easy, and the lows were there along with the highs… but the Playa always provides if you just let go and trust in the process 💙🧡
We held a small ceremony in the Temple for Luke, leaving a piece of rainbow animal print fabric alongside his name before the final burn and final rave. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Good luck on your next journey pal — I’m so grateful to have shared a small part of the previous one 🙏🏼
