As promised here is the first story about running a label.
When you want to release a record for the first time, there are a lot of things to figure out—and it can be hard to know where to start.
You need music, of course, but also artwork, someone to master your release, a pressing plant, and—ideally—a distributor. On top of that, you have to be brave enough to risk quite an amount of cash.
For me, the motivation was simple: I wanted Train Station on vinyl so badly that it pushed me to make it all happen.
Luckily, the EP stood out among the demos I sent around, and I was able to secure distribution. Since then, I’ve been working with @kompaktrecords and @denis_stockhausen , and I’m incredibly grateful to have them supporting the label.
Having that kind of backing makes a huge difference—it really helps get the music out into the world.

Holding these ten releases in my hands makes me very proud.
I never imagined we would come this far.
It all started with a very special one: Train Station. I wanted it on vinyl so badly — for me, it was simply too good to stay hidden. And it still is.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing some stories from the past five years and giving you a few insights into the journey of the label.
