Rosemead Community Screenings
Last week, over 10 non-profits and organizations brought their communities to watch Rosemead and engage in conversation with the filmmakers afterwards.
Favorite moment: the standing ovation Lucy received as she entered the theater when the credits rolled 💛
We can’t begin to describe the number of messages we received after, reflecting how deeply the themes in this film resonated with our communities and guests.
Our first screening was followed by a Q&A with the founders of Anise Health, a culturally attuned digital mental health platform for the Asian Community, author and psychotherapist Israa Nasir, and actress and producer Lucy Liu. The screening was hosted by CAPE and White Rabbit Trust.

The second screening was followed by Q&A with Rosemead’s filmmakers, including director Eric Lin, writer Marilyn Fu, and actor Lawrence Shou. The screening was hosted by Asian CineVision and White Rabbit Trust.
