Yesterday we celebrated the signing of the AANHPI Education Equity Act by @govkathyhochul . This new law directs New York to examine how Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander history is taught in our public schools and creates an advisory committee to strengthen curriculum guidance statewide. As a founding organization of the REACH Coalition, OCA-NY is proud to have helped advance this critical step toward more inclusive and accurate education for all students.
