Stronger Together
#TeamWhiteman partnered with Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) for an integrated maritime strike exercise recently. The B-2 Spirit joined with F-35 and FA-18 fighters off the coast of California. The integration of strategic bombers and carrier strike groups enhances the combat capabilities of both the @usairforce and the @usnavy .

Did you know #TeamWhiteman participated in the largest deployment of the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber in its history this past Spring?
Check out some of the highlights when six B-2s and approximately 250 personnel deployed to Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory. The deployed assets operated as the 393rd Expeditionary Bomb Squadron conducting combat operations.

This week Whiteman Air Force Base observed National Police Week 2026.
Airmen challenged themselves during the rigorous Battle of the Badges competition. They pushed a Humvee, dragged weighty fire hoses, and performed tactical combat casualty care. These events demonstrate only a fraction of the immense effort our law enforcement and first responders put forth every single day.
National Police Week honors law enforcement personnel who reach their End of Watch, those who made the ultimate sacrifice. It is a solemn reminder that safety and security are privileges paid for by the lives of those who stand watch.
Our Security Forces Airmen stand watch 24/7, regardless of weather, time, or place. They will stand guard, hold the line, and keep our people safe, no matter the obstacles, because they are our Defenders.
Defensor Fortis 🦅
National Police Week kicked off this morning with members from the 509th Security Forces Squadron completing push-ups and a 5k ruck to pay homage to Defenders who lost their lives in the line of duty. This week is recognized across the nation to honor the bravery and sacrifices made by law enforcement officers every day.
Our firefighters with the 509th Civil Engineer Squadron conduct regular training to stay ready for emergencies. During a recent live-fire training, they simulated a household fire and practiced essential firefighting procedures.
The 509th Explosive Ordnance Disposal team tested their strength and endurance during a new fitness assessment. Each event pushes EOD personnel to maintain the strength, endurance, and resilience needed to perform one of the military’s most demanding missions.
Technicians powered through a tough 1,000-meter row, completed three variations of a 20-lb medicine ball throw, lifted up to 360 lbs on the deadlift, and finished with the gruester exercise. #teamwhiteman #resilience #followus #EOD #fitness @usairforce@afglobalstrike
Locked & Loaded
#TeamWhiteman's 393rd Bomber Generation Squadron recently crowned their top load crew during a weapons load competition, practicing their efficiency and precision while handling munitions. Speed and accuracy are critical to loading munitions for bombing missions, making competitions like this important to maintaining the readiness of weapons load crews.
