They love to keep the energy high with a variety of genres and instrumentation. Cassette Confidential (4:00-4:30pm) is a new and emerging 4-piece alt-experimental rock band hailing from the Youngstown area. Original made music is what they’re here for, with a few fun covers thrown in! Mo Turk (5:00-5:30pm) is a rap artist from Akron, OH who brings a dynamic live performance to the stage. His live shows have been described as “Magic Mike meets Tyler, The Creator”, and if “DMX and Childish Gambino had a baby”. ...and we couldn’t forget to thank the amazing @thesummitfm for their continued support of our annual event! I love the end of year wrap ups. It's crazy to see the culmination of everything you've done throughout the year. I really do appreciate all the listens, the likes, the shares. I've been slacking on mentioning this but @akronlibrary started a free streaming service called blimp city beats showcasing local artists and guess who made the cut ?? Very happy to say that the OG MAGENTA has been selected as one of the first works to make it onto the list. As we know MAGENTA is such a special project to me, it represents so much about where I was at the time and what I wanted my music to be.
