With May being Mental Health Awareness month, I took another look at those lyrics and really thought about what it means to me.
Funny enough, I found that it bluntly states my whole feelings toward my own mental health at this point. Not in a “dismissing my own mental health” type of way but more in a “been there, done that, you know what to do ” type of way.
It wasn’t always like this and it took some time to get to this point. But I’m here now and it’s proof of my healing & growth. In sharing this with the world, I hope I can reach someone on a similar journey ❤️🩹
