🎨Did you know you could check-out artwork created by local, regional and international artists? The Akron Art Library is a collection of original artworks ranging from paintings, prints, photographs and mixed-media works, and any Ohio resident with a library card is eligible to check-out artworks for up to four weeks at a time! The Akron Art Library adds new works so check back and find something new to check out. To view and reserve artworks in the Akron Art Library collection, visit the ASCPL online catalog, or visit Main Library, Odom Boulevard Branch Library, or North Hill Branch Library. View/reserve art: https://bit.ly/ascpl-art The Akron Art Library is organized by the @akronartmuseum and presented in partnership with the Akron-Summit County Public Library. It is made possible with support from the Huntington-Akron Foundation.

Very excited to share that the @akronlibrary commissioned me to make a poster for the film Down By Law written and directed by fellow Ohio native, Jim Jarmusch. This is part of the awesome @ohiogoestothemovies film celebration. These prints will be given to first 50 attendees of the Akron Library’s free screening on June 13th at 1pm! Had a great time diving into this film and creating this print. I’ve been a fan of Jarmusch’s Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai as well as Dead Man for quite a while, so I was elated to be able to contribute to his distinct noire film style. 📽️ Big thanks to @ben_fulkman for hiring me and @countdracula138 for the recommendation. #noire #blackandwhite #crosshatch #alternativemovieposter #filmposter
