For @fyrenationcrew co-founder and @weonfyre cypher founder and creator @_kumaofficial_ , Mother's Day hits differently. Her Mom, Cynthia Boss, was her first major supporter when it came to her artistic explorations and encouraged Kuma to pursue her dreams both before and even while battling with endometriosis cancer. Kuma dedicates her efforts and actions with creating the WeOnFyre Cypher to her Mom, understanding that Kuma wanted to build a safe-space initiative so that dancers and creatives could be there for each other the way she needed someone to be there for her during a difficult time. 11 years later, the film "WeOnFyre Cypher" is produced by @allartstv telling the story of not only the origin and mission of WeOnFyre Cypher, but also the testimony of how this dream became a reality, and the reality became a legacy that inspires, encourages and positively influences creative communities worldwide--all from a dream conceptualized in 2014, and officially launched in 2020. It's something to see a film project you co-directed with your wife being seen on screens around the world. 17k and counting on YouTube alone, and for us success isn't the movie going viral. This was such a treat. If you know me, you know I keep classical music in my playlists. There's something about it that transports you into the story of the notes. I was so entranced, I didn't even realize I wasn't recording all of this beautiful music 😩. @ensemblevim thank you for this beautiful moment that will forever be a part of a core memory for me. My husband tells me I don't sit back and see everything in the moment but this performance is one of the moments that sat me down and made me realize where I was.. I was a Red Carpet celebration in honor of myself, my husband, and our crew. I was wearing clothing I made myself.
