The perfect evening with the perfect woman. I’d definitely give this date night 2 stars.
Impeccable service, fabulous food, beautiful venue, stunning girlfriend. What more could a boy ask for?
Treated myself to a cheeky little solo man-date today as the sun was shining and I was left to my own devices for the day.
My joyful but brief walk took me to @theyard_ely for their spicy salami pizza. Being brutally honest, they’re pizzas didn’t used to do it for me as the dough never left quite right, but I’m glad to say they’ve improved massively over the last few months and this was a delight. It was the kind of pizza that made me want to get back in the kitchen. Added bonus with going alone meant I still had half a pizza left to take home for later! Happy days. 🍕 🥤 ☀️

March was possibly the biggest month of our lives so far. Long days, late nights, no weekends, lots of paint, gallons of coffee, a few glasses of bubbly, an incredible meal, the start of the next chapter. All with a house move thrown in for good measure! Never, ever, ever underestimate @cathrineevans87 determination when it comes to getting a whole office painted… ❤️ 🎨 🏢
We’ve spent 8 months living and breathing this project. There were several times when we really thought it wasn’t going to happen. Times when we were so close to giving up. But we stuck to it. Kept our heads down and kept moving forwards and today we finally got to properly enjoy the fruits of our labour as we opened the doors to The Ely Work Collective to the public.
We didn’t do this alone, and @cathrineevans87 and I are so incredibly grateful for all the help and support we’ve had throughout the process. Now we can’t wait to see where this takes us and who we’ll meet and work with as we grow.
The day we've been waiting for is almost here!
We're opening our doors this Thursday, 19th March for a special preview day.
Feel free to pop down anytime between 10am - 5pm for a coffee and a chat to see what the space is all about.
You can find the new home of The Ely Work Collective at Upper Floor 28 St Thomas Place, Ely, CB7 4EX.
Drop us a DM if you'd like to come and we hope to see you.
