The first-gen L322 will (probably) go down in history as the most handsome iteration of the Range Rover. I can’t believe I sold this 4 years ago. I love our Cayenne, but there was also something so special about that chuggy td6 engine and those soft, supple armchairs. Later models just weren’t as comfortable in my opinion.

The poor Cayenne has been more of a van than a car these past few weeks as we’ve been using it heavily to fit out our new business. One thing lugging boxes, wood, furniture and other assorted office all over East Anglia has taught us is that this really is a brilliant car. The back seats go flat creating an enormous load space, and then when you’ve dropped everything off and put the interior back to normal it transforms back into a surprisingly nimble and engaging drivers car.
The weather is starting to turn. The sun is starting to shine. That can only mean one thing… car show season is coming! And we can’t wait for our favourite event of the year - @heveninghamconcours
