we're getting antsy for festival season, so this week we're gearing up for a fun, local midwinter weekend full of music and dance!! We'll be playing a short set in the auditorium early afternoon on Saturday, and for the rest of the time we are guaranteed to be jamming, singing, and dancing.

a surprise ice storm hit our neck of the woods last night, stranding the original band hired for this dance back home... but by some stroke of luck, all of us just happened to be together for a different errand in Pittsburgh, and that's how the Weevils became a contra dance band! 🤗
In all seriousness though, what a delightful impromptu evening we had with Pittsburgh Contra last night! playing tunes we love for a collection of wonderful dancers who braved the weather to dance was an absolute treat. ❄️🪲
