The 2026 short-tailed shearwater migration is underway, with fledglings now leaving Phillip Island (Milawul) for an epic journey to Alaska. 🪶🌏 Over recent weeks, lights were switched off as the community came together to help guide these young birds safely out to sea. Now it's time for tailwinds, open oceans and instinct to take over.

Adjust, mix, and create the desired atmosphere that will bring spaces to life with the new FLC331 & 341. The projectors offer colour-changing options with the RGBW and RGBA variants for dynamic coloured lighting. The RGBA (Amber) version is designed to be wildlife-sensitive, reducing disruption to nocturnal animals while maintaining effective illumination. #weef #flc300 #projectors #colourchanging #architecture #landscape

Short-tailed shearwater chicks are making their first 15,000 km flight from Phillip Island in Australia to the Aleutian Islands near Alaska. Please support the shearwater migration • Turn your lights off in the evening • Consider using wildlife sensitive lighting at home • Drive slowly and be cautious on the roads Flight times can vary – check Phillip Island Nature Parks Facebook events for exact ‘lights out’ dates. If you find an injured shearwater, please call the Wildlife Victoria hotline 24/7 on 03 8400 7300. @phillipislandnp @basscoastshire

Larger projects require broader illumination. The new FLC331 & 341 projectors offer up to 72 W, delivering high lumen output precisely where it is needed. They are bigger, more powerful, and suitable for larger projects, but still as versatile and adjustable as ever, with a wide range of mounting options, accessories, and colour temperatures. #weef #flc300 #projectors #outdoorlighting #architecture #landscape

Princeton University Art Museum serves as a welcoming cultural hub on campus. Pedestrian pathways flow into and through the museum, and at night, the illumination of the multi-level building guides pedestrians through moments of discovery and connection. Tillotson Design Associates selected WE-EF’s in grade luminaire, the ETV140, for its ability to deliver precise optics with minimal glare, creating an artful wallwash around the museum’s ridged facade. The durability and easy maintenance of the ETV140 was also important to the university, especially for harsh, winter weather conditions. Sustainability begins with intelligent engineering. The RFL110 is made from over 90 % refined recycled aluminium with ultra-low copper content (< 0.1 %), built to endure harsh climates while supporting circular-economy principles. Its modular form factor and future-proof design enable easy refurbishment, repurposing and upgrade over time, extending product life and reducing waste. With more lumens per kilo, the RFL110 delivers high efficiency with less material use. Rated IP66 with anti-reflective safety glass and protected by WE-EF’s 5CE superior corrosion-protection system, it provides long-term reliability with minimal environmental impact. Built to last. Lakeshore Park, a cherished destination in Knoxville, Tennessee, recently underwent a transformative update as part of its master plan. An essential piece of this evolution was the redesign of outdoor lighting — a task that required a delicate balance between performance, comfort, and respect for the surrounding natural environment. @tillett_lighting_design selected WE-EF luminaires, — including VFL540 street and area fixtures, low-glare bollards, and subtle steplights — to thoughtfully transition the park from day to night. The result: ⭐ Comfortable and inviting pathways for walkers and cyclists long after sunset. ⭐ Precise optics with minimal spill light, preserving the beauty of the park’s landscapes. ⭐ Visual cues that enhance safety and wayfinding, without overpowering the serenity of the setting.
