We're excited to share one of our first major commercial lighting projects - the Monte Carlo HQ in Ahmedabad!
Collaborating with @beps_india and @edifice_consultants , we crafted a lighting strategy that balanced task and ambient illumination. Vertical surfaces were bathed in light, while careful contrast management ensured a harmonious transition between workspaces (task areas) and circulation spaces.
The building's sustainable design featuring daylight harvesting, ensured a seamless transition from day to night, maintaining optimal illuminance levels and visual comfort throughout the workspace.
From refined cabin lighting to quirky cafeteria accents, every detail was thoughtfully considered. The result? A workspace that's both functional and visually stunning!

A milestone worth celebrating — and what better way than by sharing one of our early projects: Bombay House, the iconic Tata HQ in South Bombay.
We had the privilege of working on this Edwardian Neoclassical landmark, known for its distinctive entrance canopies and large Georgian windows that lend it a stately, enduring presence. Completed in 2018, this project remains close to our hearts — not just for its architectural significance, but for the journey it took us on.
We wanted the lighting design to seamlessly integrate with the building’s inherent elegance, responding to its scale, symmetry, and understated details.
The carefully crafted design is a soft, intentional, and restrained scheme — using linear grazers and discreet window uplights to accentuate the façade while keeping the light tightly controlled.
This approach reflects our commitment to responsible urban lighting: illuminating with precision, minimizing glare and light spill, and ensuring a safe, visually comfortable experience for pedestrians and traffic along South Bombay’s bustling streets.

A year since handover, and still one of the most exciting spaces we’ve worked on.
Dave & Buster’s Bangalore is built on movement and play, and the lighting was shaped to amplify that spirit. Two sweeping RGBW light lines run across the arcade, while warm tree-lit columns, glowing arches, and a neon-led passage add layers of colour and rhythm.
Each zone carries its own mood — the buzzing sports bar, the more intimate bowling lounge, and private rooms tuned for events. Together, the lighting ties the entire space into an immersive, high-energy experience.

Introducing La Danza, a mesmerizing retreat in Lonavala where brutalist strength meets elegant warmth. Our team at Studio SOL had the privilege of crafting the lighting design for this stunning project by @baldiwala_edge
The challenge was to marry robustness with softness, and we achieved this by using visibly solid lights with a soft, warm glow. This unique approach blended perfectly with the space's brutalist-flamenco aesthetic.
To create an ambient glow without traditional cove lighting, we introduced linear lights in innovative ways throughout the space. These were complemented by spotlights that served as accents and downlights, adding depth and visual interest.
We're thrilled to have collaborated with Ali Baldiwala and his team once again- this marks our third project together, with a few more underway and many more to come!
La Danza is a testament to our successful partnership, where stillness meets movement and light dances with shadows.
