Our safety leaders really outdid themselves this year! From interactive trainings on proper ladder use and heat illness awareness/prevention to candid group discussions about prioritizing mental health, our Safety Week events were all about reinforcing that safety—both physical and psychological—is always top priority. Many thanks to our inspiring safety leaders for organizing such a meaningful week of impactful safety activities across our NorCal and SoCal job sites! And remember: Safety Week may have come to an end, but Speaking up for Safety is (and always will be) a year-round, 24/7 initiative. #SafetyWeek2026

Thank you to all the Weborians and partners who came out to celebrate National Rebuilding Day (NRD)! Since 1990, we’ve spent the last Saturday of April supporting @rebuildingtogether —a national nonprofit dedicated to repairing the homes of neighbors in need and revitalizing communities. This year, we partnered with @berkeleyyouthalternatives (BYA) to transform the nonprofit’s backyard into a garden for community workshops on sustainability, agriculture, art, and music. It was a wonderful opportunity to support an incredible local program championing underserved children, youth, and their families through a continuum of care model centered on education, health/well-being, and economic self-sufficiency. Many thanks to Webcor Assistant Project Manager James Bicamumpaka and Sr. Project Engineer Mansi Bansal for spearheading this year’s NRD event!
We’d also like to shout-out our incredible trade partners for donating their time/services to BYA ahead of NRD, including: Jerry Thompson & Sons Painting, Ogden Inc., Professional Tree Care, Pacific States Environmental Contractors, and Jensen Landscape. Thank you all for your generosity! 📷: Webcor Sr. Communications Director Shel Holtz

Happy 🌎 Day—or if you’re like us and celebrate throughout April, Earth Month! Although sustainability is a year-round priority, this day/month is an important reminder to reflect on the environmental impact of our everyday choices and take action to protect our priceless shared resources.
Over the last few weeks, Webcorians have cleaned up Santa Monica State Beach, volunteered with @friendsoftheurbanforest , and prioritized sustainable habits—composting/recycling, planting vegetables/trees, eliminating single-use plastic, etc. To better understand our critical role in mitigating construction’s impact on climate change, they’ve also joined weekly Earth Month presentations on construction-specific topics like carbon reduction on projects and the state of sustainability in California. Shout-out to Sr. Sustainability Director Sarah Rege and Sustainability Manager Kavita Karmarkar for organizing a jam-packed line-up of Earth Month events this year! #earthmonth2026
