From working at the family business to building lasting careers at ACCO, Bob Felix, former Vice President of Construction Sales, sits down with his son Ryan, Senior Marketing Manager, and nephew Bryan, Operations Manager, Virtual Construction - Hydronics, to reflect on how ACCO’s culture has shaped their journeys over the past decade. #ACCOLegacy #TeamACCOES
At ACCO, we strive to build a safety culture that goes beyond protocol, where employees instinctively look out for one another.
When Robert Smith noticed a fellow tradesperson in distress at a Reno job site, he didn’t hesitate. Recognizing the signs of choking, he immediately performed the Heimlich maneuver, clearing the obstruction and saving a life.
His quick thinking and safety-first instincts reflect the culture of care we work to uphold across every job site.
In recognition of his life-saving actions, Robert was presented with the ACCO Safety Hero Award by Rick Riley, Senior Vice President, Construction Operations, and Margaret Felberg, MBA, CSP Felberg, Vice President, Safety.

The goal and focus:
✅ Build agentic AI prototypes
✅ Develop internal skills

At ACCO, a job can become a legacy.
Across our company, it’s not uncommon to see multiple generations of the same family working side by side. Fathers, sons, mothers, daughters, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, and uncles all contributing to something that lasts beyond a single career.
Because at ACCO, we’re not just building projects, we’re building legacies. #TeamACCOES #ACCOLegacy
ACCO recently hosted our 2nd Annual FSG Field Leadership Summit in Pleasanton, bringing together more than 70 field leaders from across our footprint for two days of collaboration, learning, and leadership development. Led by Lonnie Wright, our Vice President of Field Operations, the summit featured breakout sessions on effective leadership, presentations from Larry Murphy, ACCO Service Manager, on mental health and guest speaker Steve Thomas on leadership practices.
Thank you to everyone who helped plan and coordinate the event. Opportunities like this to share experiences and learn from one another continue to strengthen our teams across every region. We’re already looking forward to next year’s summit. #TeamACCOES

UCLA Medical Plaza in Los Angeles, CA had a challenge on their hands -- they needed to upgrade their rooftop cooling tower units at a time when COVID-19 infections were at a peak.
Each cooling tower unit weighed more than 13,000 pounds. With no access or time for a large crane, UCLA turned to ACCO’s Facility Service Group for an ambitious alternative – complete the replacements in a single day.
We got it done before dinner.
Watch the video to see how.
