Iโve spent the past few years hard at work on my next album. While only a handful of tracks make the final cut, hundreds of demos often hit a dead end. I built Webb Warp to give those ideas a second life.
Webb Warp is a synesthetic platform that unleashes creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. Choose a world, enter the canvas, and youโre in control: shape, sound, and time shift with your touch.
Beyond an interactive audio remix engine, Webb Warp is a living visual playground. Each world is a complex 3D environment that you can warp and reshape in real time. Even on mute, the canvas stands alone as a compelling generative art piece; you can sculpt and distort the visuals, apply filters, or override colour palettes that sync to your actual time of day.
Once you share your creation, it takes on a life of its own. Through a unique evolutionary flow, others can remix and expand upon it - allowing every โWarpโ to grow into something new and unexpected while tracing its lineage back to the start.
I designed this for anyone looking to create without barriers or the intervention of AI. You donโt need to know how to code, navigate a 3D engine, or master a DAW to make something fun and meaningful; itโs a space where complex art is shaped by touch, feel, and intuition.
And while the platform is built for anyone to play, itโs also a great resource for professional creators. Visual artists, VJs, and music producers can discover and capture unique beats or kaleidoscopic visuals to use commercially in their own projects.
Each world has its own distinct visual tone and soundscape. Iโve named the first worlds after the collaborators from my first two EPs - engineer Matt Voigt, drummer Josiah Bradshaw, and bassist Luke Ebert. As the platform grows, Iโll continue this naming convention as an homage to the many wonderful musicians who have helped shape my work over the years.
