Join interactive studio @wearemegaverse and Indie-Rock band @_townhouses (with special guests @papercrownsmusic ) for a fully immersive live show exploring new ways audiences and artists can connect.
Together, you will shape the experience through real-time, audio-reactive visuals created during the performance; these visuals respond to what’s happening on stage and connect the space to an online audience who will also participate live.
This is an R&D project part of CoSTAR National Lab's 'Grassroots Music Venue Innovation' competition, in partnership with @musicfuturesuk and supported by @musicvenuetrust .
The aim is to address current challenges faced by the UK's live music sector, by prototyping new and emerging technologies that could support a more equitable future for grassroots venues.

We’re excited to announce that CoSTAR National Lab and @musicfuturesuk have selected four pioneering R&D projects through the Grassroots Music Venue Innovation Call.
MASS @bluman_associates@barneykass , @wearemegaverse , @sona.lux , and Studio Tonto were all selected and their projects span a wide range of innovation areas, from virtual performance, spatial audio and multi-sensory perception, all aimed at advancing the UK’s position at the forefront of creative technology research and supporting some potential solutions to real-world problems across the live music sector.
